LA Galaxy Star Might Be on the Move to Europe

Right back Julian Araujo and the Los Angeles Galaxy are still waiting for FIFA to decide whether or not to make the player's move to Barcelona official. Araujo has been signed by the LaLiga Santander giants on a one-year loan deal with a six-million-dollar buyout option. However, Barcelona failed to submit all paperwork in time, missing the deadline by just seconds. This was quite painful for the young player looking to make his first big-money move to Europe.

First and foremost, it is evident that he plays for Barca Atletic," Mateu Alemany, the Director of Football at Barcelona, stated. There was indeed a problem with the system that prevented it from being completed. There was a time when no recording was made for 18 seconds. We'll see what FIFA has to say. Meanwhile, it appears that LA Galaxy coach Greg Vanney is confident that FIFA will approve the 21-year-old's move to Catalonia.

According to Varney's statement on Thursday, "the only update that I have is it is in FIFA's hands to review the process that was underway or completed or however they are going to determine that." We're all kind of waiting and seeing because they will issue their decision once they go through that process.
This appears to be the second window during which we have spoken to them about Julian. The discussion about what a deal would actually look like started to get clear and was negotiated pretty late in the window. During the last three to four days, those discussions began to pick up and gain momentum. It came down to the wire because of the rapid nature of the events. Since they have inquired about him in previous windows, it is evident that they have been keeping an eye on him.
