LLETGET: LA GALAXY BETTER OFF WITHOUT IBRAHIMOVIC

Zlatan Ibrahimovic spent two years as a star for the MLS side LA Galaxy, but a former teammate believes the squad is better off without the enigmatic striker.
LA Galaxy midfielder Sebastian Lletget says the atmosphere at the club has improved since Zlatan Ibrahimovic's departure.
The legendary striker spent two seasons with the MLS side before he left to return to AC Milan in January.

The former Barcelona, Juventus and Manchester United forward scored an incredible 53 goals in 58 games for Galaxy, finishing the club's top scorer and Player of the Year in both seasons.

While the 38-year-old's exploits saw him become a fan-favorite in the United States, it seems his teammates were not so fond of him.
Lletget has spoken out about the difficulty of playing alongside Ibrahimovic, admitting that the team's spirit has improved since his departure at the start of the year.

Lletget stated that it was difficult
playing with 38-year olds’ while it is even more difficult to play with him. He admitted Ibrahimovic could be so frustrating that you feel like taking off your boots and walking off the pitch.
There was a particular incident that went viral on social media. LA Galaxy were defending a last-minute free kick against City LAFC, Ibrahimovic was seen pushing Lletget out of the wall much to the frustration of the player.

LA Galaxy have replaced the Swede with another marquee signing. The club welcomed the arrival of Javier Hernandez in February. The Mexican international joined the club from Sevilla and he is expected to be the direct replacement for the Swede.
Ibrahimovic has since left the MLS to join his former side AC Milan.
