Western Counties Soccer

Three Mississauga soccer teams won Ontario Indoor Cup titles recently in Vaughan.

The Erin Mills Eagles under-14 girls have so much depth, they were able to field two teams — and they met in the final.

When the dust settled, Erin Mills white defeated Erin Mills green 3-2 on penalty kicks. Julia Stampatori scored the game-winning goal.

The Mississauga Falcons boys' under-16 B team lost its opening game 4-1 to the Mount Hamilton Avalanche, but rebounded to defeat the same squad 2-0 in the championship game. Both goals were scored by captain Alex Mitrovic.

To Develop and provide technical support and training, to assist and guide the membership in matters of operation, to arrange and provide group insurance, and to promote the game of soccer both indoor and outdoor for recreational players in the Counties of Western Ontario.
